Group Therapy FAQs
Is what I say in the group really confidential?
What does the intake process look like?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of therapy. Every member signs an agreement to keep everything shared within the group private and protected, creating a safe space for everyone to heal.
Before joining, you’ll have a brief, one-on-one session with the group therapist. This intake ensures the group is the right fit for your needs and allows you to ask any personal questions in private.
How often do groups meet?
What is the pricing for group sessions?
Most of our groups meet weekly on a set schedule to provide consistency and reliability. Sessions typically last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the specific focus of the group therapy.
Group therapy is often a more accessible option than individual sessions. Costs vary by group type, and we provide clear pricing details during your intake so there are no surprises.
Do I have to share everything immediately?
What if I can’t make a session?
Not at all. You are encouraged to participate at a pace that feels comfortable for you. While engagement is helpful, we respect your boundary as you build trust with the others.
We encourage consistent attendance, as your presence matters to the group dynamic. If you must miss a meeting, please notify your therapist as early as possible to plan accordingly.
